I'm from St. Louis and graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Marketing. I incorporated art into my routine through a Fine Arts Minor and gallery internships, but ultimately obtained a digital marketing job upon graduation. Let's just say it didn't take long for me to realize that the corporate world wasn't for me. At that point, I was ready to go back to school.
In January of 2019, I began my pursuit for a Master of Fine Arts at Fontbonne University. Studying painting and drawing at Fontbonne was so rewarding. I had some of the most dedicated professors who not only immensely improved my artistic abilities, but also provided inspiration through their encouragement and dedication.
I graduated with my MA in 2020 and my MFA in the Spring of 2021. I currently balance my own personal art practice with teaching art. I'm lucky enough to teach both elementary students as well as college level students.
